I am a relative newcomer to the voice space but have set myself up well to provide quality reads for your project.

I record from my own sound booth to my PC using Reaper as my DAW and a Shure SM7B mic hooked up to an Elgato Wave XLR interface with an FX chain tailored to my space. More examples are available on request.
